Take a look toward any corner of Greene County and you will see a project made possible by the Greene County Community Foundation (GCCF).
During the last 19 years, eager members of nonprofit organizations in Greene County have had ideas, hopes, dreams, and aspirations come to fruition with funding from GCCF. “We look forward to partnering with more Greene County organizations to continue positively impacting our neighborhoods and county,” GCCF board president Karen Shannon said.
Last year the GCCF received 30 applications requesting $443,059, and funded 22 projects totaling more than $274,000. The GCCF’s 2025 grant cycle is now in progress. The organization invites applications for up to $35,000. Grant applications will be accepted through Friday, Feb. 14, at 4 pm. “We are excited to see what projects we can help make a reality, enriching Greene County and its residents,” Shannon said.
